No heat in 2000 Town Car
The heater in our 2000 Town Car has grown weak and now emits no heat. The fan, temp and position settings, and A/C work, but not the heater/defroster. It blows only ambient air. Any ideas of what's wrong?

Re: No heat in 2000 Town Car
I wonder if your car has that valve like some ford vehicles that transfers the coolant to and from the engine, and when you switch it, then it goes through the heater core. You might want to check that out.... Just a thought..

Re: No heat in 2000 Town Car
Hey I had the same trouble with a 95 I found a vac line under the dash that was loose (i think it was gray) hook it back up the damper and the heat worked great. No there is no valve in the heater line. Now there maybe a pluged line. Allow the motor to come up to temp. and feel the heater lines if both fell hot then no plug. Now if one fells hotter than the other then pluged line. Flush the line and see what happens. I hop this helps.
