y-pipe challenged!

Hi, have a 97 sonoma 2 wheel drive, 4.3, auto, 123 inch wheelbase that needs a new y-pipe. Seems like the part is "unavailable" except thru the dealer. Thought it would be a simple fix. Before I drag out the welder, anybody have any ideas?

A good muffler shop can usually make the up for you.
Have you check a parts place that has walker exhaust systems?
