Eagle One Nanowax

I donno about you guys, but I had seen these commercials for this stuff before. I was a skeptic. I thought, there's no way this stuff will do just as good as an old fashioned buff and polish job...

Holy crap was I wrong...

So today I was at Autozone and saw the stuff. It was only like 5 bucks for a bottle and I thought, what the hell. I had just gotten done hand washing the car anyways.

Here are the results I got...

Here is something to keep in mind too. I don't really care about the appearance of my Cobalt usually. The only thing I had done was I washed it once in the spring and that was it. I haven't taken care of it at all and the nanowax was able to bring this thing back to life and then some. The gloss level is completely unbelievable now. I love this stuff...

Just thought you guys might be interested in the performance of that stuff for future use...

Re: Eagle One Nanowax

Let's not forget that this car is a what, 2006? That paint is brand new so it's still all glossy to begin with. Doing it to our cars won't have the same results.

Re: Eagle One Nanowax

Don't be so sure of that Dave. I haven't cared for it at all in the last year and it was looking pathetically dull before this. I wasn't planning on it workin so well or I would have taken before pics of it.

All I had to do was hand wash it well, as normal, and then spray it on and wipe it off. The protection feels great. It is nice and smooth like a brand new car. Sure, you guys can argue its a 2006, but a cars paint can go downhill fast in a few years if not taken care of...

I've dealt with several different brands across the years and this seemed to be the easiest with the best results ever.

Re: Eagle One Nanowax

My dads been detailing cars for a long time now and he has a lot of trial and error w/ different waxes. The one he seems to enjoy the most because it is the easiest to apply is Ardex "Gold Supreme" but he doesn't use until after he uses Refinishers Choice "Wax and Grease remover". He seems to really like this stuff and he did a small part of my fender and it looked fricken awesome. He washes the car then wipes it down w/ the Wax and Grease Remover, once dried he puts on the Ardex and waits about 5 minutes and the stuff wipes right off. So much easier then Turtle wax.

Re: Eagle One Nanowax

Wanted to see a follow up to this thread. I was looking at the paint on the Talon last time I washed it and was looking at how dull and 'cloudy' it looks. How is this wax holding up Brian? Still shiny & smooth?

Re: Eagle One Nanowax

I have been wanting to try this stuff. I like to use these spray on detailers after and between washes, to prolong the life of my wax. The reason I havent bought any of this yet is because I have like 5 bottles of meguirs/mothers detailer that I havent used yet.

The last time I waxed the car I used meguirs tech wax 2.0 or something like that. The results were nice.

Yes, it's holding up nicely considering I haven't gotten to take care of it very much over the winter. One day about 2 weeks ago I washed it cause we had a very warm day (About 50) and the thing turned out amazingly shiny for just a washing. I can't wait to get back from Florida and have a lot of nice weather so I can do it again and see if it gets even better. Next time I'll do half the car and then take a picture for you guys.
