Re: Automotive Forum GTR question.

only one set of photos you've posted is of the real car; the other is a mock up of the livery.
Incidentally, why does it matter if someone else has already done it or not?

Re: Automotive Forum GTR question.

I just want to see how there's turned out. Why you ask, like a 2 year old. I what to talk to some one that like the car as much as me. Talking to some one that likes a subject same as you may give you new in-site and some one to bounce ideas off of. I don't realy know if you even like the looks of the car as I'm not going to ask. I just may get some flipped answer. Like that flipped question. "An I quote": "Why does it matter if someone else has already done it or not"?

Oh my bad some (American slang) you may not know what I mean by the word "Flipped" Dum,Cynical,Silly, Stupid, ect.... It's how you use the word.
here's a link to some American slang: http://www.manythings.org/slang/

Re: Automotive Forum GTR question.

When this car was introduced to the forum there was talk of someone making decals as the kit was the easy part. Not sure whatever happened to that and as far as I can remember nothing has been made or done with the AF car.

I think with some careful masking and painting and maybe printing your own decals it can be done with time and patience.

I'd maybe see if Igor can remember anything about it. I believe he came here to have the some of the guys design the paint scheme.
That's the best I can give you from my old memory.
Good Luck!
Chris

Re: Automotive Forum GTR question.

Hi.
At the time Igor launched a kind of non-official "graphic contest" to let any member to share his ideas about Godzilla.
What's happened is that incidentally was choose my design , so those mock up that inspired Igor's R34 are mine, I ever wanted to do a model for me, but TBH I liked more the sketch than the real car (not to say they done a poor job, just a fact of tastes), so my idea was to do a racing Zspec with my kind livery.

"Water is passed under bridges" and I lost interest for the project, but if I remind right there was a plenty of detailed images in the Igor gallery about his GTR, with engine details and interiors.

Mock up was done trough Photoshop, so I have nothing to offers speaking of vector shapes, but wouldn't be so hard design the kind side shape on a tape and obtain the vector shape for a decal.

Re: Automotive Forum GTR question.

I ask the way I want you ask the way you want. there's no real intelligent way to ask for all that info if you dont know just what to ask. That's why foums are a grat place to ask some thing. You ask and stand back and see just whom will give you the info you need, even if you don't know the right words to ask.

About the AF car I like the idea of doing it as a race car but I would like to do a street version or a Drift version. I do have some images of the race interior as well as the engine bay. I have a Tamiya Z-Tuned Skyline that I will use in my build. I'm also looking to get one more so I can do eather the time attack version or a drift concept.

Thanks for all the info and links I'll see whom ever like me starts there build in the Motorsports section. Oh by the way I'm not looking to be the first to build her, I just want to do a good job as I like this forum and with that car on contest tabels, I can in my own way show my support this forum that I like. I would hope that othere here would do the same or feel the same.

Your say "You say tomato I say tomahto" one other saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" as this last saying as it relates to the way I asked my QT-Question. It's up to the person on how they will ask any question of their own choosing.
No one is set's to thier PC and tells them selves, First I must ask my Question in an ntelligent and logical manner as not to get "Emperor Hairy Monkey" "Flustered"

Oh and if you don't know what means here you go, a link: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/flustered
