Re: Trumpeter GT40

I have one Trumpeter kit and it seems pretty good so maybe the GT40 will be too.

Funnily enough, I had that Red Flag kit in my hands yesterday and nearly bought it to go with my Chinese 612 Scagliettis LOL. It only cost 15$

Same here... my first thought was, I'll go broke because I'll want to build several versions... Then I thought "No" being 1/12th scale, I would only want to build one... unless someone came out with a Mk I transkit

I agree Eric, I'm sure I'll only be able to afford one and it'll be the only one I'll build. Given Trumpeter's increasing quality I look forward to seeing this kit. I'm sure the aftermarket will go nuts with this one.

Re: Trumpeter GT40

I have trumpeter's bonneville kits, both in cabrio and coupe. they are over 200 parts each and they are in 1/25. I can't imagine how much detail and parts they would put into a 1/12 gt40 kit!

Re: Trumpeter GT40

Granted... it's not pretty boxart, if that's really the boxart.

It's starting to show up more though.... fingers still crossed!!

Re: Trumpeter GT40

It's probably a long shot, but perhaps Trumpeter will have some info (or maybe a test shot) at the iHobby expo that is about to commence as I type this.

My fingers are crossed.

Regards, Dan
