1995 ford t bird check engine light

I have a 95 T bird 4.6 V8 with 186,000 miles on it. The CEL came on and when checked said there was a hose off the DPFE sensor, but there was not. We blew the lines out and put a new sensor on the car. The light stayed off for about 100 miles and then came back on. You can reset it and it will come back on after 100 miles or so. The compute showed the ERG valve was flowing, so we don't know what to do next. Any suggestions would be apperciated....Thanks...car gets 18 to 20 around town and will get 25-27 on the road....

Remove the hoses where they attach to the engine and try to stick a wire into the engine fittings to be sure they aren't blocked. Use a wire just small enough to fit into the openings. Next thing would be to remove the EGR and clean the passages. Are you sure the hoses aren't cracked and leaking?
