Can anyone weigh in on how good or bad these cars are compared to other muscle/pony cars.....do they handle well and how good or bad is the overall ride....What are the positives and negatives of these cars.......??

Thanks for any help!

I think they're good.

If you drove one you'd understand.

Can you be more specific.....is the 74 Challenger a good riding and handeling car....I don't have alot of experience with muscle/pony cars.....I have not had the honor or privelege of riding in many of them.......looking for some expert advice before I jump in and buy a daily driver......I want something I can hang on to for a LONG TIME and something I will want to hang on to for a LONG TIME!

Thanks!

Re: 1974 Challenger??

Decent car. Poor quality of construction, typical of most American cars of the '73-'80 era. Plenty of performance potential, though. Same as 'Cuda of the era. These things get REAL fast when suppiled with a 440-plus engine.
