I'm considering a Focus - what should I watch for?

I'm considering buying a 2000-2002 Focus ZX3 for my son who will start driving soon. (He plays guitar in a couple of bands and we think the hatchback might be a good fit for his gear.)

Are there any common problems that I should watch out for?

(I participate in a couple of other boards here, and I know it's very common to see the same things popping up over and over with a particular model.)

the fuel delivery module, its covered by an extended warranty so they will fix it for free just have to diagnose it first. I'm currently experiencing that problem its not fun. Other than that i dont know thats just from my experience.. I hears 01 was the bad year for that model but dont quote me. Good luck!
