1983 5mge 64000 original miles
I'm the second owner and it's just been pulled out of my car. It ran very well and pulled very well per anyone who's ever been in the car and is familiar w the 5mge. There are no funny noises or knocks, this engine runs smooooth and quite.
I am the 2nd owner and have had it for approx 4 yrs. The engine has the usual head seeping oil, but it is not enough to get close to dripping on the driveway--no spots in the drive way at all, it may consume 1qt every 3k mi which is more than 6 monthes time.
Always mobile 1-always.
All accesories work and all components are intact and working, this includes AFM, alternator, starter, and ECU, the AC is an unknown, but it was factory repaired before I bought the car and was working well when I bought it, I never used it and noticed it was not working last summer when I checked. The timing belt was replaced by toyota in dec of 04, so its only got prob less than 3-4k miles on it. the exhaust header and down pipe w all the original heat shields is also included.
Take your old engine out and throw it away.
This engine is the definition of plug and play.
