bent valves and linkage pin

so idk if any of u guys know but my timing belt broke on my car. so i was gonna replace the timing belt. had alot of trouble with the center bolt, but i just turned up my compressor to 150psi and my 1/2 impact spun it off really easy. so i repace the belt and i try and start it, it doesnt start, so i do a comp check, found out #2,3 dont have any compression, so it looks like i bent the #2 intakes and #3 edxhaust valves, which sucks but i am doing a ls swap anyways so it doesnt matter. it looks like the belt broke because of the water pump, cause the water pump was gone.

so the other problem i am having is htat the damn shift linkage pin is driving me nuts. i was trying to use a gear puller to push it out, but i just ended up bending a creasten wrench. i think i am just gonna drill it out and get a bolt and nut thing in there. dah i am getting very frustrated. ok well thats it

I would double check that you have the #1 cyclinder at TDC and make sure that your not off on the timing marks. Also how fast were you going when it broke ?

i got the pin out and i ended up breaking my gear puller. now another problem is that the linkage is still rusted stuck on the tranny

yeah i used a punch to get it out once my gear puller pushed it out alittle bit

timing is right on, it was just at cruisin speed when it broke

To get the linkage off the tranny heat it up a few times and use a hammer and put a bar or something on the lip of the linkage.
