05 1.8t passat p0600, any help?

I have a 05 vw passat 1.8t that is hard to get started when outside temp is below 35 degrees f. Turns over just fine just takes awhile to finally start. Ran the codes and got 2, p0600 serial communications link malfunction and p0171 system to lean. Any have this problem or give me an idea of what to do or check. Thanks
