Final rebuild of Evo 3

![]() To this ..(can't remember why i take apart this beauty) h43r: Then this!!! ![]() Now the final version! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This car had gone under 3 rebuilds and this will be the final one. However, the finishing is not that good as the project had been pending for 2 years !! How time flies but I manage to finish it. Here are the list of modification and specification of the build. i) Pearl Red Color ii) GT Wing set from Fujimi (traded with a friend) iii) Bonnet pins, handbrake, rear view mirror,steering, fire extinguisher, rollcage from Toyota AE86 (Extra) iv) Spare tyre, gear knob from Fujimi Evo VIII (Extra's) v) Steel rims given by a friend (Looks like an Evo III RS) vi) Recaro Set and front disc brake from Tamiya Evo VI vii) Tinted Rear and side windows viii) Rear absorbers/springs from Tamiya Evo VI Rally

I like it, the rims make it look like a sleeper. Taking off the mitsu decal on the front made it look much better. I liked it in dark silver.

Yes I agree the steel rims give model cars a more mainstream look. I have been looking for steel rims for such a long time (made resin copies of some 14 inch steelies) I would kill to have a set of steel rims off a Evo7 RS (I think those are 15 inch) but the local store is selling the kit for close to $40 CAD!!!

Well it definitely has been evolving.
Kinda reminds of a 1,3-or-something litre Lancer with a huge-ass wing, though. Nice model anyway.

It looks good, very sleeper like which is always nice and it looks clean. Think i perfer the old wing though.
