Is their any differences in the 1.0L 3 cylinder Engine block or heads from a 90 to a 94 Metro?

I don't think you will have a problem. 95 and up have a crank sensor if i'm right. i put a jdm in mine about a month ago. pretty straight forward to do. 89-94 should all be the same if they are both 1.0. hope this helps. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

A G10 block is a G10 block. They are all the same. Heads are the same too except if one was a XFi model the cam would be different, but it would interchange. There should be no electrical difference between a 90 and 94.

you just have to use the intake system off the one that came in the car your fixing and probably the distributor too. 94 does have a different timing belt than a 90 but still works, you just need to use the water pump pulley, crank pulley and alternator off the 94. the timing belt is wider so the alternator sits a little farther out so use the alternator and pulleys off the 94. they don't seem to have the noise problem with belt as much as the older ones

I have and drive a 1985 carbureted sprint with the 1.0 motor. I have a 1989 geo injected 1.0 bare block, can I rebuild the 89 block using new 1985 parts and swop to the 85 head????

No, Mark I engines were different. 89 and newer engines were the same with different accessories bolted on, but 85 0 88 was a different beast.
