Yellow Porsche 993 GT2

Hello...I am showing a sneak preview of my 4th model. Guess it....I have been working on it after i finished my GTR32. I give all my commitment to this build, however i always try to build my model with the lowest budget as possible at the same time make sure that it is nice. Hope u all will like it....ladies and gentlemen, here i present my build....

Here is the pictures of body, 90% finish already...sorry again for the bad quality pictures as i not afford to get a new camera..hehe..

Comments are welcomes..

Finally i able to achieve some watery effect but too bad the camera doesn't show it

Actually i wanna do so kinda clean weekend track car rather than complicated race track car..

Re: Yellow Porsche 933 GT2

Here some update for tonight...i have done the dashboard...

At first i paint the dash board following the instruction...matt black...but then when i saw the 5 rings on the dashboard...i got some idea to make it better... so i use a silver sharpie pen to paint the edge of the ring to make it more interesting...

I mange to finish all the rings....

Here is the final result..hope u like it..i am quite satisfied with the result...

Comments please...

Re: Yellow Porsche 933 GT2

Hi, i think it's not your camera...it's your focus point & camera shake.
try to stay @50cm away from the subject & you'll get good & sharp pics.

nice gloss on the porsche!
cheers!

I like the sharpie pen Idea, looks like you have more control with it then a paint brush. It looks to be coming along very nice.

Re: Yellow Porsche 933 GT2

If only your photographic skills would be as good as your modelling skills we could give you better feedback!

On the pics with the right focus it looks like you achieved a good finish on the paint job!

Re: Yellow Porsche 933 GT2

Your build is looking very good straight out of the box. Maybe as your budget allows, add some detail with wiring in the cockpit.

If the camera has a mode button that has a Flower on it. Switch to that mode, it is a macro photography setting. Also find a place that has the most possible light. Because it makes it easier for the Camera to focus.

Re: Yellow Porsche 933 GT2

Beside that i have also done the rims...i decided to use the gun metal color for the rim centre because i was suggested by many members to do so...

first i mask the side of the rims....

After that i found that the centre was too plain therefore i decided to add some red color on the middle cap of the rim...however all of the sudden i was inspired by the rims of Porsche Carrera GT....then i make front rim cap in blue color and back in red color...hereby i wanna that to this forum that i was able to learn many excellent modelling skills and inspiration here...the members are always more than willing to share and teach...

Here is the final result....

Tell me how you all think ya...your comments are appreciate....
