Toro Rosso, Honda Ra108 And Badboy 'vette

Hey guys!
Just finished those two recently (the STR last week and the honda yesterday) The STR was started a while ago. Didn't like this kit that much.Even if it's very thin, metal parts are excellent and everything, i felt the engraving was poor, metal parts were so thin that they're easily breakable, decals (not the toro area but the rest) are not easy to applys, they stick quickly etc...anyways, a nice addition to the shelf, the scheme is cool just added some custom base for both kits

CUstom base

Then it's the Honda RA108 from this year.Decals are not as funny as the RA107. I chose the Barrichello 257 version, a bit more original ! The kit is wrong here and there, the problem is that I've noticed that when i was half the way, but there aren't that much pic on the web (I guess i've looked carefully but you never know ) So the front wing is wrong, decal positionning too, 257 should be on the second flap, no winglet on the air box) but oh well I can live with it.
Hope you like it too !

oh also this, as there are some SMS lovers here revell C6R with SMS TK and Bad boy decals Cool decals, didn't use the whole TK as i've done previously an open vette so....cheaper than the ST27 though.

bye !

Those f1 cars look amazing. Are they both 1:20th scale? I've just been re-watching some of the F1 and seeing those two builds is a real pleasure. Nice idea with the bases too. Good job on that C6R too.

All of your cars look excellent!!! Could you please do a how-to on your bases? Your bases have and astonishing effect and I would like to do something like that too.

Beautiful builds, how did you create the bases? Paint or decals?

Re: Toro Rosso, Honda Ra108 And Badboy 'vette

THank uou !
The base are from Tamiya 's display case C. I talke the measures of the base, then in illustrator do a graphic design of my own or i search on google a nice picture, rework it a bit in photoshop (size, colors remove defects etc...) then print it on a laser printer at work, put it in a glue machine ( 2 cylinder that put some glue under your paper sheet) then apply it on the base and you're set !
