speeding ticket / court / possible license suspension

Ok, I am 16 years old and live in Texas. I recently got my first speeding ticket going 70 mph in a 30 ( I have def learned my lesson and realize the stupidity). I am asking how much will the fine likely be and will my license be suspended and if so for how long? Thanks for any help in advance!!!

Re: speeding ticket / court / possible license suspension

The best way to find out that information is to call the Clerk of Court and ask. The number should be listed somewhere on the ticket.

Also, Google is your friend, I turned up numerous sites to read by searching for "Texas traffic laws".

Lastly, don't forget to factor in that your insurance may increase.

Good luck in court and let us know how it comes out.
