Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

1/24 Fujimi 330P4 with HRM engine transkit + studio27 PE. Just finish wiring the engine. Added some detail myself. Body just roughly sprayed. Need to sand smooth and add more coats. Still alot more to go.

Re: Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

I'm glad to see this project posted. This fujimi / HRM combo is still on my want list. Do you have any photos of the engine parts before paint assembly? What is your opinion of both kits? I really like what you have done so far. Looking forward to seeing more.

This combo is high on my must do list also. Any fit problems so far? Did you shoot TS-8 Italian Red?

Re: Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

The rear stabilizer bar doesn't fit over the engine. Firewall need some trimming to fit right. Not a bad transkit to have, better if some parts are PE. Missing some baffle parts under the body engine cover. The instruction can be better if it has more picture.

Body is TS-8.

Re: Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

this fujimi kit + HRM engine is the complete kit to have for those who wanted a engined P4, apart from the expensive MFH resin set.

i've always craved for this resin engine a long time but don't know where to get them & was outbidded in the ebay everytime!

so cherish this build, you're more fortunate than some of us!
keep it up!

Re: Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

Working on some front detail. Not much. 4 hoses and structure under the front cover.

The exhaust is on just for fitting. Intake, brakes, wheels are also dry fitted.

You were looking for some firewall stuff? Here are some shots of a spyder thats fairly original. There have been some modifications and updates for modern vintage racing.

Keep posting progress!

Interesting build; I've built the MFH Daytona version of this car and it was a fitting nightmare from start to finish, hope your kit goes together well!Good luck with the rest of the build.

Cheers. Lee

Re: Ferrari 330P4 w/ HRM engine

Aquestion here, I have this mr color UV cut clear myself. Dp this one it's different or what's special on it. Do it works like the regular Gunze mr. color clear? Do it has more gloss?

Thanks!

It will not turn yellowish with time and will protect your decals from the UV rays.
