ZC Fast Idle Cntrol sol.Vlv & Exh.Cam Sens.

Hi all,

I am a new/oldie to this game. Help. 2 Questions.

91 4Gen 5 sp Civic HB SI. Motor gained liking for oil and antifreeze.
Bought a JDM ZC motor that came with a broken exhaust cam sensor. The "motor and trans stores" claims that they have no other ZC's that I can get the sensor off. Where to get a good working sensor??
The other alt. is to change the leaking shaft seal which I was able to carefully remove.
Seal is "NOK" BH3888E. Toronto H dealers seem not to have a clue.


ZC motor is from an automatic and the Intake manif. seems not to have any provision for the Fast Idle Control Solenoid Valve unlike orig. SI. which mounts on Int.manif. Anyone mounted FICSV on manifold or off??
I have been seeing quite a few post about ZC's idle problems and suspect that this might have something to do with it.

Just wanted to clarify the dimensions for this Honda distributor seal are 12.5 X 22.5 X 5mm and the material is ACM not NBR.

The design type is also different from what most industrial seal suppliers will offer.

Our design is the OEM design and has a bi-directional helix on the inside lip.
