Hy Guys,
after install an Bumper Guard on my rear bumper, the parking aid disable it self when backing up ? Someone hase the same problem ? THX Oliver |

Not sure what you mean by "park aid". What is it supposed to do? ![]() What is it not doing? ************************************* If you are talking about the parking (emergency) brake, it is made to automatically release when the car is placed in gear, either forward or reverse. That way you will not forget and drive while it is on or partially on. This is the only thing I can possibly imagine you are talking about. __________________

Just a wild guess, but I'll bet you are covering up the reverse sensors with your 'bumper guard'. Your sensing system may be compensating for the additional materials covering them, but I wouldn't bet on 100% reliability unless the sensor heads are fully exposed.
