My 2000 jimmy does not have any power at the fuel pump!

My jimmy had died after having issues with the fuel pump. I found I had no ground to my fuel pump so I fixed that. When I hooked up the new fuel pump and turned the ignition on I heard a pop and lost my 12 volt power to the fuel pump. I checked the relay and found that i had no ignition power there also. I jumped the relay to check the wiring to the pump and still have no power. Is ther an iertia switch on my jimmy or is it controlled threw the oil pressure switch? Any help would be great thanks. I have also checked my fuses and found none burnt up.

Welcome to AF. the pop may have been a fuse letting go, the the ign B fuse or a specific fuel pump fuse.

Thanks! I dont think the pop was a fuse because I was standing at the driver door when I heard the pop and it came from the back. After that I checked for power at the pump and lost it as well as ignition power at the fuel pump relay.
