New to modelling

I'm new to modelling, also to Automotive Forums. I've known a member who used to be on here for awhile now and have seen some models he made.
He told me he was going to give up models within a week or so, he will become busy with other things. So I may get some models from him to do. I've had previous model experience with Games Workshop models, so I'm ok with the detail sides. I'm not to good at spraying models though.

Cars makers I like are Porsche (especially old ones), Mercedes, Lamborghini & a few Japanese & American makers, such as Nissan & Honda, Plymouth & Chevrolet. I hope to get a model off my mate within a week or more so I can start. :bandit:
