99 lumina won't start

I have a 99 lumina and it won't start replaced the starter 2 days ago and it ran fine but today went to start it and all it does is make a clicking sound like the starter is bad again.

Re: 99 lumina won't start

I am guessing from experience that if you have replaced the complete starter (solenoid and all), that the clicking is a result of either a dead battery or bad battery cables. Turn on your headlights and crank the car. Do they dim? If so, It's most likely the battery or connections. If they don't dim, check the cable going to the starter itself or suspect a 2nd bad starter. It happens.
