Power Locks/Mirrors
Ok, so I'm getting ready to sell the first car I've ever owned and in the process of cleaning everything up I discovered that the power locks aren't working right, or the mirrors. These are the symptoms:
-Doors will unlock when you put the car in park and they will lock when you put the car in drive. -Truck will open with button in glove box, but not using the keyfob. -The doors won't unlock using either the keyfob or the buttons on the driver and passenger doors. -No blown fuses -Power mirrors won't work at all. Any ideas here? I called the local gm dealership and the mechanic told me if it was the remote module the buttons would still work for the locks, so I'm at a loss here. Hopefully someone may have some idea what's going on here. Thanks a lot. |

Re: Power Locks/Mirrors
It would help to include the year and trim level of your car.

Re: Power Locks/Mirrors
I am having a similar problem with my 95 regal limited. I can only unlock the doors with the key fob, because they don't unlock when I put it in park. The power mirrors are also inop. I am thinking I have broken wires in the harness where it transitions from the door to the body. i will post any findings.
