ANTI-LOCK ABS Light ON checked all wires
I don't have abs and snow is coming and braking sucks in the rain.
All the bearings are good, I jacked the car up on all sides and used one of my old wheel bearings it just has worn out bearings and I connected it to all 4 wheel clips, spun it by hand and I hear the brake unit make a click sound. So all 4 communicate but that doesn't tell me if my wheel sensors are bad. I left the key in the on position and put it in neutral while doing this. I spun each wheel but this time I didn't hear any clicks. I also cleaned all the connectors with cnc electric cleaner. I read that it could be the EBCM, Electronic Brake Pressure Modulator. Re: ANTI-LOCK ABS Light ON checked all wires
it could actually be many things, from wheel sensors, wiring, steering sensors (magna-steer) etc etc...The first thing you have already done is rule out a bad wheel hub (sensor), next thing should be a dealer$hip code scan for ABS codes...anything other than a proper code scan will leave you throwing good money after bad replacing parts that aren't causing any problem. FIY when a car is ran with the drive wheels off the ground (regardless if left in neutral or not) the ABS light will come on. It will not reset until it is on the ground and it does a self-test.
