Mustang parking brake
So I drive a 99 automatic mustang 3.6 liter. I am trying to replace my back brakes and everything has been fine so far. I am on my second caliper and the parking brake cable is completely fused to the caliper. I cannot get it off. I have tried pulling turning penetrating oil using a hammer....everything i can think of. I have removed the retainer clip so there should be nothing holding it in. (the last one just popped right out.) So my question is this. I ahve never used my parking brake. Can I just cut the line??? Please let me know if this is safe/ will it affect anything else?
