2002 pontiac gp gt will not change from defroster mode?

yes, i own this 2002 pontiac grand prix gt, when i move knob on heater and a/c control it will not move from defroster mode to vent or floor mode, what could the problem be? all help will be appreciated? thank you

Most likely a blend door issue. Could also be a mode door vac module
