1992 Dodge Cummins 12 valve
This Dodge ran out of fuel the other day and we put fuel back into it and it wont start. we have tried taking the injector lines off and letting them pump fuel through and tried cranking it over for hours and it wont fire. we have plenty of fuel and it wont run and if u have any suggestions email me at [email protected]
Also do u need to bleed fuel lines if the injector lines have came off to test to see if you do have fuel Last edited by Candy_Cane22005; 07-21-2008 at 07:29 PM. |

Yes u do not have to take the lines off at all. You just need to losen them and crank the crap out of it till it starts.let it run for a min then tighten back up

Re: 1992 Dodge Cummins 12 valve
There's a lever on the fuel pump you can pull down then pushing down on it works the pump without having to crank the motor over. If it doesn't seem to have much stroke to it, bump the starter then try the lever again.
These things are a general pain if you let them run out of fuel.
