there isn't one.just a plain jane speedo/odometer.my question;did they have a trip meter way back in 1989.is it available somewhere?if it is,would it mean switching out the current speedo or is it just an add on to the current set up.any help will be mucho appreaciated.

Go to the Ford parts department and ask what parts are available. Or you can use a service like this. http://speedometerservices.com/ Ups the unit to them for repairs. When I had a garage in Georgia I had to purchase any parts from a company like this.
