95 5.0 to 5.7 Motor upgrade

I have a 95 silverado with a 5.0 TBI and manual transmission. How hard would it be to upgrade to a 5.7? does the 5.7 come with throttle body or can i just buy a 350 engine and put my intake and tbi on it?? any info thanks!!

Will go in real easy,the wiring harness is the same without modifications.The 1988 to 1995 350s come with a TBI set up.

I agree everthing will go right in, but you need to get yourself a set of 350 injectors or a whole TBI off a 350 to get full power from the 5.7 engine. They have different flow capacities.

Note that the ECMs are the same between 305 and 350; however, the PROM is different and you will need a 350 PROM. The Knock Sensor and ESC Module are also different.
