Thumbs up Rising dipstick oil level.

Just wanted to share this with others. My 94 Ranger 4.0 started to show excess oil on the dipstick while at the same time I was losing a/t fluid about a quart every 1000 miles. Turns out the a/t modulator had a hole in the diaphragm and was pulling a/t fluid up through the vacuum line into the intake. It must of still worked because it only started to shift hard when the fluid got low. Another symptom to look out for is your vacuum lines getting sloppy with oil and possibly popping off at he intake. Hope this helps someone.
