I wrecked my first car. opinions on deja vu?

Ok, well I got my licence in October. A good driver, in my mom's G6 GXP- I became addicted to speed. Alright, so maybe it wasn't the fastest car in the world. But me- alone driving for 8 days- those 130 miles per hour were the best few hours I've ever had. Races, organized drags for cash outside the high school, hittin the freeway and just lettin go...

At 2 in the morning, on November 1st, I was out on the road with a friend. We had been partying all night, and I was driving us home. I was in the packed city, whipping through traffic like a stupid kid. I was on the freeway, headed back to the coast- like a stupid kid. Passing the late-shift workers at insane speeds, 125+ easy. Then blue lights. The radar detector didn't pick up anything. I freaked. I thought I was supposed to get a warning?
Well, he wasn't watching people's speed. He was watching the work zone in the HOV lane. I jammed on my brakes, and they locked up. I tried to stay with the interstate as it banked to the right, but I couldn't. I spun, 360, and took a look at the speedometer- 103 mph. BANG. Into the concrete wall on my left. so that car was toast.

My only question is... In your opinion- since "everyone crashes their first car" will I crash my next one? Just asking for an honest opinion here, please no flames.

You're really asking for flames with a story like that. I didn't wreck my first car. Not everyone does. However, if you continue to drive like then then rest assure, you'll wreck every damn car you own. So, shape up or just stick to public transportation.

youll wreck the next car cuz you are an idiot, not because of some curse causing you to wreck your first car.

How could you not expect flames w/ a post like that. Congratulations, you have just become the statistic. Guess what? Statistics is how insurance companies price their rates. And that affects everyone, even the good, sane drivers. Things like this are why the 18 - 20 some year old guys with good records cant get a break on their insurance rates. If i was your mom, I wouldn't even get you another car, bus fare will do. Maybe then you will appreciate the privilege of having a car, as well as accepting the responsibilities associated with it.

NOONE is a good driver in less than a month, nobody. Nobody is a good driver in a year. And a good driver doesn't recklessly speed or endanger others on the highway. And you're mom buying a newly licensed person a brand new semi powerful car? WTF was she thinking? Oh wait that's right i had her drunk that night sorry.

I haven't wrecked a single car I own, and I'm on my third about to be fourth. Your just a fucking idiot. How long did it take you to get that G6 to 130, like, two hours? That thing is a dog, I didn't even think it could do 130. What the hell were you "racing for cash" outside the school for? Milk money? That massive bank of ten bucks? Thanks for making my premiums go up you dumb bastard. Maybe next time Darwin will take his toll on you.

Fuck I hate you. I don't even know you, but I hate you.
