Drivetrain Problems
I have a limited slip dif. If im on slipery blacktop thats wet and turning the drive wheel will turn and the other one will like jump like its tryin to lock in completely but it just keeps going bang bang bang. Itll work on dirt tho. Does this mean that the rear end is going bad or is it normal.

Re: Drivetrain Problems
The abs light came onthe other day but went off. I have a front wheel bearing goin so i thought thats why the light came on. the Rear end was low on fluid so i just topped it of.

Re: Drivetrain Problems
Find out why ABS light was on.
How low was it? Where is it leaking? Are you using the right rear end grease? Pull Inspection plate and check rear end.

Re: Drivetrain Problems
it was so low i could put my finger in there and not touch any. its leakin out the filler hole. I jacked up the rear end last night and put it in nutral. When i spin one tire the other doesnt move. like the dif isnt workin. but when i put it in park and spun one tire the other one went the opposite way. is this normal?

Re: Drivetrain Problems
What about the abs light?
Yes that is normal. Jacked up in neutral give the drive shaft a quick turn. Both wheels should turn. Also turn drive shaft back and forth and check for slack. You need to pull inspection plate for a good look in there.
