pulling codes on a 93 e250

Hi all
Is there a method of pulling the trouble codes on 93 e 250 without having to buy a different scanner? My scanner does OBD2.
Thanks!

Re: pulling codes on a 93 e250

The problem is the plugs are different. My scanner will do both but I have to change cables. Advance Auto or Auto Zone will pull codes free. some people have told me they updated scanners and wouldn't do it for him. I would ask some friends if they will do it.
Look at scanners on ebay these old scanners go very cheap. Depending on what you have all you may need is the leads. Do some checking and buy a used one if you have to. The OTC 4000E will do plenty to check out this truck. A 1993 cartridge and Ford cable is all you need. It can only be updated to 2002 Duece foreign and domestic. They do have abs for this if needed.
