Something interesting I did with a Porsche style sketch.
While I was watching a class one afternoon, (
I teach and it was my planning period) I was standing at my counter sketching to pass time. This girl walks by and says, "Woah, did you draw that?" I almost said, "Here's your sign," but decided it was against my better judgment. Anyway, she tells me I should use some paper they're using in art class. It's called "scratch art." You scratch out the design with a sharp object. It works like a lottery ticket. She shows me, and it looks really cool. I gave it a try and Voila:

Re: Something interesting I did with a Porsche style sketch.
By the way, here's the actual sketch I did. It was done in about 20 minutes with no references, so I say Porsche style rather than actual Porsche because I'm sure I missed some design cues. The actual scratching process took less time once the design was sketched out on the back of the scratch paper. I'd say over all an hour. For a first attempt, it's ok. I bet someone could do something much cooler with this stuff.
