Tamiya GTR-33

Done!
Finally finish this after months.
Nothing much as usual. Only changed the rims and exhaust.

With Nismo rims. Think i've over weathered them:

I like the LMGT4's on the R33....

What color did you use?

Re: Tamiya GTR-33

Looks really good. The slightly over-painted panel lines make it look as though it came right out of an anime . Lovely paint job as well. What colour is that?

Re: Tamiya GTR-33

The car looks really good. And the weathering on the rims are spot on. Well done.

Re: Tamiya GTR-33

Thanks for all the comments.

Paint is tamiya rattle can paint: TS-39 mica red.

I wanted to do something similar to the 400R and thus the colour theme. In the end it didn't turn out to look like one. And i've had a few problems with the panel lines. Rear bumper lines are too wide while those on the doors are too fine. In the end i had to scribe (very carefully) the panel lines around the doors after i've paint/clearcoat the body. I find the panel lines abit unnatural too... Oh well, life goes on. On to the next project.
