alignment
I have a 88 chevy 4X4 2500 and i need to align the front wheels after i have put new used tires on it, when i turn left the tires squal, i dont have the money or time to go to a shop, wondering if anyone can help??

ok get in truck and move sterring wheel and move it back and 4th until you think there strait. then get out look at tires see witch one is toed in or toed out then take and move your tierod sleeve until it looks strait.you can also take a ruler and measure the center of back tires then go to front and see if it's the same measure distance of front wheels. that's about all i can tell you because it really you need it aligned on alignment rack. just a thought on this you can try is nock tierod loose and straten your wheel then turn tierod out or in when you think it's strait..

Some shops will give you a free alignment check. If you can get that printout, you'll have a good idea what needs tweaking before you start turning any screws.
