Opinions on Hasegawa 1/24 Lancia Stratos HF 1975 Safari Rally

Hello all!

Anyone that have this kit could help me out?

I would like to know if this is a good kit or just awful like the '66 Volkswagen Bettle?

Thanks!

For me it's a good kit, no particular problems...

Overall it's a very nice kit even though it has no engine. I built another version of it. I do not like the way the body has to be spread to put on chassis though. I got around this by cutting the rear deck loose, then the built chassis can be passed through front half of the body and then re-attach the rear deck. This also allows tthe bulkhead to be built up to fit tighter in the body. My decals were very brittle and I had some cracking problems though. I plan to paint the green areas when I build my Safari version.

I built the '77 Monte Carlo version and found it a very good kit. Don't worry too much about spreading the body to fit to the chassis - take care and it's a good fit.

Very nice! Thank you very much guys!

I just picked one at TowerHobbies for USD 18.64...which is very cheap since kit´s price are rocketing.

Some 3 months ago I bought another Tamiya Mobil 1 Honda NSX for USD 21.99...now it´s been up by 8 bucks ...almost 50% raise.

OH MY GOD! I just checked again and this same kit is USD 39.99

I was lucky...even if Customs tax it when arrives here it was still cheap!
