Coolant issues and blinker issues

Ok. So firstly can anyone help me locate where the block drain plug is for the coolant on an 03 cavalier. I tried using a hayne's to locate it but it's not useful at all.

Second:my right blinker out of nowhere has started flickering way faster than the left one. it's annoying how do i fix it?

Re: Coolant issues and blinker issues

If your blinker is blinking faster that means either the front right or right tail light it burnt out. Put the right signal on and step out and take a look.

Ah. clever. i was thinking that's what it could be but i wasn't sure. and to think of it my brake light's out as well i don't know if that could be it or not. but yeah dude thanks.

For the other problem my car's a 2.2 liter dual overhead cam. i forgot to divulge that information earlier

Re: Coolant issues and blinker issues

2.2 DOHC Ecotec was the only engine offered in the 03 Cavalier, besides the point. The plug should be located at the lower left front corner of the radiator. If there is no plug, you can disconnect the lower radiator hose to drain. But This was also taken from the Haynes Manual so I don't know if it'll be any help.

Re: Coolant issues and blinker issues

you can drain the system like stated, or in the back of the motor is the TB housing, and you can drain the motor there and save the coolant in your radiator.

Re: Coolant issues and blinker issues

Cool cool. would the TB housing also be considered the throttle body heater inlet valve?
