Re: street racing

Hello, and welcome to AF.
You should try the mustang forums first or the non specific forum at least.
Mods please move.

Remove the 5.0 V8 and replace it with a monkey on a treadmill.

Re: street racing

Ever heard of a GT500? steal one of their engines and slap it in yours.

Instant beast.

Welcome to hell. (sorry cassies, but I am stealing this from you)

The AF Street Racing section. Never before has there been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Re: street racing

How much money do u have? Cold air intake, exhaust, headers, gears, cams, superchargers, engine swap, etc. All really depends on your level of cash.

buy an all around better car...seriously 5.0l with like 220hp...just a sad day for american "muscle/pony" cars.

no offense, if u like em then ur choice.

most likely an exhaust and intake would be best options to offer u the most. im not good with stangs, they don't handle well i have no interest in em.

also remember all the power u can have is great, but in real life suspension still matters, u'll have to get the car thru turns better as u add power. ur not gonna want a 300hp car that can't go over 20 around a turn or u'll die in.

Re: street racing

Ok, now in all seriousness. If you want to you can make a deciently well-powered car from a 5.0. I raced one in my VR4 that gave me a hell of a run. Now all I know is that he had an exhaust and NO2. Not sure what else he had. Maybe some supporting mods like aftermarket fuel upgrades. But with NO2 and exhaust, or even a cam, and full exhaust, my guess is that car would liven up quite a bit.

Street racing is stupid, and all people who race are stupid. You could kill people. I think all street racers should be put in jail, you included. If you street racing, you will crash, and you will die. Its only a matter of time.

Re: street racing

cassie, haven't we've gone over this before, yes u have the right to your opinion, but if u dont like street racing than y look in that section. i street raced a lot when i was younger, i'm still alive. the more u drive the more u up ur chances of an accident...that's y insurance companies tend to ask how far u live from ur job.

as for 5L, if i recall a mid 90's stang was very restrictive, intake and exhaust will net u a nice power increase. then u can go about doing some more expensive things. supercharger i guess would work, i'm not sure of ur compression ratio tho

I'm really hoping you missed the sarcasm in my post or I missed the sarcasm in yours...

Re: street racing

Well I think you did when I joined the forum because I had the Mazda logo as my avatar

And god, that scared me for a bit. But you have been known for your "aggresive" opinion-stating.
