power steering woes sbc

i bought a new power steering pump for my smallblock and the brackets wont fit it. i have two separate brackets and the style of pump that has a stud in the back for the right side bracket. problem is the brackets wont mount on the new pump. are there any people out there that have run into this problem and whatnot? i am kind of at a loss as to what i should do

cant you make another little bracket to fit it with another piece of iron. or is there room enough to drill hole in one the brackets you got?
