Smoking, Idol rough, seems to be dumping fuel into oil?

I have a 2000 BMW 740iL, I have owned this car for just a short while when it began idoling really rough, burning really rich with a gas/oil smell, hence the white smoke. It appears to be dumping fuel into the oil very quickly.
Has anybody experience this and if so what are my options?

If she is putting out white smoke I would suspect a blown head gasket, blue smoke is oil and black smoke is a rich mixture.
