Re: Ferrari 512BB LM

This is probably the must ugly Ferrari ( IMHO :-) but you had an interesting start on the model. I'm curious to see where you're heading with this!
The exhaust pipes look....serious!

Re: Ferrari 512BB LM

Little update of my 512BB LM:

I remade the engine frame. I soldered brass rods together to make this.

Left my version, right the kit version:

Installed the frame:

Painted:

I also scratched the suspension. I used brass tubes with various sizes.

Re: Ferrari 512BB LM

weird car, probably the most ugly decalsheet I've ever seen...how about another livery :-) ...but the car is brutal and your build looks very interesting. I have this one in my pile in 1/43 and the MFH kit...to be build somewhere in the far future.

Re: Ferrari 512BB LM

One of my favorite IMSA machines of the 70's. It's phenomenal to see the level of detail you're putting into the build in 1/43rd. Keep it up!

Re: Ferrari 512BB LM

small update: I finished the interior.

Seat: seatbelts are made from the material suplied in the kit, hardware is from Renaissance.

Interior: I've added a piece of the rollcage (sides) and wired the fire extinguisher.
