Bentley Continental SuperSports

Hi there,

another model is finished just in time for the upcoming exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany.

The beautifully made Welly DC model has been disassembled and the interior has been painted to simulate a bi-color leather upholstery in black and tan. A support bar was added, ScaleProduction CF decal applied and clearcoated.

The exterior color was left untouched, why should I ruin a 99% perfect paintjob? I added a front spoiler and used the same CF decals. These were also used on the rear bumper insert. The carbon fiber decals are a joy to work with, they respond quickly to decal softener and look great bare and clear coated. The wheels are Aoshima items, with PE brakes and resin calipers from ScaleProduction.

If you want to see more pictures and want to know what the model looked like before the transformation, please click here.

Laters
Sebastian

PS: If you have any questions, feel free to ask. C&C always welcome.

Thanks, mate. And no, it shouldn't. Scale modeling is not related to the material used. The DC forum is for people who buy a model, take a pic and put the model on the shelf without doing any modifications to it.

I agree this is not modeling ,
starting from scratch with a box of bits and some paints thats how you do it .

Re: Bentley Continental SuperSports

OH! Russian Moscow numbers.

But they are not correct a little. In CarPlates.ru you can get different russian numbers in different scales and download them in *.pdf format for printing.

Example. Your number (A309BC77) in 1/24 scale:

Technically, it COULD be placed in the Diecast forum. Though your statement holds somewhat true, there IS a reason we HAVE a diecast forum.
