AWD is hard to drift with. since all 4 wheels are scrambling for grip, it's hard to swing the ass out. and MR is included in my assessment of RWD.

awd isn't that hard to drift with at all...

there are countless articles about oversteering in new stock evos and wrx's. not a big deal.

go drive one hard in a corner and stomp on, just like a rwd car... it'll drift

What's a cheap FR to buy in North America?
B/c I want a FR to 'play around' with, since FFs are boring, and most MRs are expensive; and I seem to find AWDs understeer relative to FRs.

Looking at the AutoMarts, the least expensive FR in Canada is the 240SX. Any other suggestions?

i don't want to condone domestics, but a 5.0 stang in lx trim can be made to drift easy, i know it's not an import... but hey... you asked...

they're cheap, easy to work on, and cheap to mod... and get tailhappy...

don't hate me you asked...

you could get a mkiii supra... i know of one actually... not a bad car. turbo...

hell... find a conquest tsi...
not too much else out there though...

I've drifted. And I dont mean powersliding out of a corner, I mean full inertial drift. It was 4:00AM and I was on a 4 lane road with NO ONE around . I wouldn't do it in any other conditions.

Stock AWD vehicles are designed to understeer because people can't handle oversteer

If you set it up for oversteer its all good not to mention you have to keep the accelerator down mid drift so that you don't lose control
