99 Tahoe Column Shift Lever loose
When driving my husband's Tahoe this weekend, I noticed that the column shift lever had a lot of "play" in it.
Several times after I had engaged the gear, as I was driving, it would "pop" out of the position it was in, alarming me. I thought I had done something "wrong" but my husband says it has been doing it to him as well.
He normally can tear into anything on our cars and fix them, but this is a new one for him and we need some leads for sources of information on how to approach this.
