98 headlight question.

Hello..

Just recent'y picked up this car and love it! So roomie!

Ok, so, when i first got the car.. when i got home, shut everything off, turned car off, got out, locked up and went to my house,,, the headlights stayed on like a timer.. then they shut off autmatically after a few minues.. not all lights.. just what looks like DRL.. (daytime running lights)

Well now they don't do it and i have changed nothing and it made it easier to unlock door in the dark at home..... Whats stopped it?

Re: 98 headlight question.

Maybe the first time you noticed it you actually turned off the ignition key before turning off the headlights, that is normally how that feature works. They will look like daytime running lights in that mode because the parking lights will be off and then after a minute or two the headlights will turn off.

some more, that is unless you break it. At least they're easier
to repair and get the thrill back than a pissed off girlfriend.
