Timing belt or chain 3.5L

I just bought an 05 Canyon, 3.5L Does anyone know if this motor has a timing belt or chain, or if it is an interference engine?

Re: Timing belt or chain 3.5L

The timing chain and guides will cost around $275.00 on the internet.
I would call an automotive machine shop and ask your other question.
I wouldn't go to far past Chevy guidelines on changing it either way as towing adds up even could equal the parts cost.
