New shoes...

Mazdaspeed6 wheels. Look much better than the thick, dork ass wheels. Lost about a pound or so at each corner, wahoo!!!! Also, parked next to a potential next purchase, belongs to a guy who works at the same building I do, but he wants to make room for a track M Coupe, the new one. He also owns a 335i sedan, an E46 'Vert, and a Carrera 4S...

Re: New shoes...

They look great. So, an M3? That was on my mind as my next car as well. Not sure what generation though.

Re: New shoes...

Thanks. And, yup, working on it now. Just need to find a buyer for the Speed3. E46 for class, E36 for fast. Not sure yet. Also contemplating picking up a 330ci ZHP for a DD and then one of those 120k mile E36s to turn into a track car...

Re: New shoes...

How much cheaper are the E36's to mod then the E46's?

New wheels look good

Eh, it depends. From the deals I'd get working side jobs still up at the dealership I used to work at full time, plus other buddy buddy connections...

On a base level with just bolt ons, not that much. Its hard to get good deals on E36 aftermarket parts because everyone that is going to be modded is, to the eyes of the aftermarket is already modded. Not so much with the E46s, so I could get deals on parts there. If I wasn't getting the hook up, E36s are considerably cheaper to mod.

For power adders and big budget items, its noth that much cheaper in cost, but the results are usually much more pronounced. Better bang for the buck, if you will.
