2003 Envoy XL SLT - noise when interior lights go OFF

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue or might have an idea on how to troubleshoot it...

2003 Envoy XL SLT 4wd

Anytime my interior lights go out (as they fade out on the timer delay, doors shut, ect) we hear a strange noise (rrrrrrnnnnnntttt - for a lack of words). It is a short (1-1.5 seconds long), soft sound.

I thought perhaps it meant a light bulb was out but all seem to be burning brightly.

Any ideas?

Welcome to AF, diagnosis of any kind of noises in this environment are tough at best, may be the timer/lite module making the noise, just have to do some research to find the source, no quick answer for this.
