no power to starter
i bought a new starter to get my car to start but nothing no pwer to starter
what else can i check im lost. |

Wtf is that diagram? Seriously.. the battery is directly connected to the starter. So there better be freaking power lol. As for the solenoid its a very simple circuit. battery runs to key, key runs to starter solenoid relay. Relay runs to small tab on starter solenoid. Put 12v to the little tab and the starter will kick.

I am not saying that it is a great diagram but the battery connects to the starter solenoid not the starter motor itself in the diagram seriously...

Well in REALITY. the battery connects to the large stud on the starter. and the solenoid works as a switch for that power input. when the solenoid kicks on the starter gets power. But there is always a live 12v feed to the starter.
